Purpose of rat story

Swee was asking me during the dinner juz now abt the rat story. He wondered if i really witness the whole thing and wrote the story. My reply was simple, "it was fiction."

I was trying to achieve something out the story. Firstly, i repect all life forms, even if it is a lowly rat. They equally have the rights to continue living and no one is to deprive them of that. Second, i wish to give praise to their attitude of facing reality and even death. They clearly understand how difficult it is in the path that lies ahead or even if it means dying in the process, they persisted with their ideals and nv give up.

I salute this type of spirit, juz face the outcome shld it fail.=)
