Recently been in love with watching the Taiwanese drama. Its titled Love. I like its opening and feel that the lyrics are of a certain high level. Many people tend to place emphasis on the more superficial side of solely listening to good music. I feel that good music is a good conveyor of the real meaning of the lyrics, and all the more lyrics shouldn't be neglected. To understand the meaning of the lyrics and wad the writer is trying to convey requires a decent depth of the language as well as an effort to find out and feel for the spirit of the whole song.

Many people tend to misunderstood the dialect hokkien as very uncivilized. I guess it muz be due to many uncles swearing in hokkien and hence many would have this misconception. In fact, in every articulation of the dialect, I can feel the frankness and sincerity. Probably this is why whenever RG converse to me in hokkien, i can immediately relate to that level of closeness with him. Fellow friends, let me share with u the lyrics of "梦醒在三更".
