A hall training session

Yesterday went for training session with fellow hall mates. I was glad my brother was with me. Its been long since i trained with him. Those days when i really made effort in planning, to polish his physical conditions and strokes into eventually making him a player of some decent level. He had not touched the racket for ages and i was happy he was finally back with me. When i was in my teens, pple used to comment that his strokes were almost the same style as mine, almost a photocopy. And yesterday, hall mates made similar comments, I laughed, i am his brother and coach, how can we not have similar playing style? HAha. I really like the way he put up a fight against me, spirited and hardworking, like me. =D

There was this youngster who played on the court beside us and he muz had seen how me and my bro played. I noticed him even before he started looking in our direction. He has got a strong wrist power and great technique. Moreover, he is tall and made steep smashes. I thought this guy didn't seem humble with his body language and i could tell he wanted to perform in front of his peers. Then for the rest of the 2 hours, i ignored his presence and concentrated in playing with fellow hall mates and my brother. And as i predicted his character accurately, he sent his friend to challenge us in the midst of my match against my brother, he wanted a game of mixed doubles (because the next strongest player there was a girl). I declined them with the reason that my hall mates needed rest and were packing up. Desperate, his friend offered that the youngster still partner a girl against me and my bro.

I didn't want him to be at a disadvantage. So i told my bro to set all our attacks on him. In the end, the brothers won of course. I could tell this guy has the same level of strokes i have, probably he juz didn't know how to use them well. Play another 5 years and he should be good enough. Joking. LOL.

"Different pple can have different preferences and each doesn't need to be justified. I now have a love for SNIPER(Yamaha Sparks 135), it doesn't mean i can criticize those who like SP(Honda sport bike). Each serves for different purpose and we shouldn't judge those we don't favour dismissively."
