恋人未满

Talked to a good friend recently regarding an issue of getting into a relationship. Sometimes, due to different parties having totally different mentality, things don't work like a simple arithmetic equation.

The song of " 恋人未满 " was written from the perspective of young lady who was in the midst of falling in love. She was anxious about why the guy had not taken the appropriate actions to show his love for her. If he did, he would be able to bring their relationship to the next level. From the song, the girl was puzzled as to why they were already so close and yet failed to progress to the next stage. She was anxious about him, yet she could only pray that he quickly take the appropriate actions. However, not having the right attitude in the courtship would mean that its all over for them. In fact, from the lyrics, we can tell that both parties were anxious about each other, but some psychological barrier seem to be in their way. The girl was frustrated and seemingly complained about the lack of courage of the guy.

From the perspective of women, this song can be very right. No doubt, guys should always take the initiative. However, as the Chinese saying goes, 当局者迷， even though the guy can feel very happy with the girl and likes the girl, but he can be a piece of wooden block. The girl interested can feel that she has told the biggest hint which is almost as good as telling him straight in the face( seriously most of the time, its juz something very vague ) while he still doesn't understand a thing. The guy, being confused and unsure of the situation, how is he going to be sure of his own decision and garner enough courage to show his love for the girl? Maybe there are some unknown qualms in him not taking the actions, so it shouldn't be responsibility on one side. Ladies, if u really like someone, u shouldn't juz wait for a response from him. Maybe he needs a helping hand, and its time for u to do something for him.
