Protect and Preserve

Everyone has certain values, people or things which he feels oblige to "PROTECT AND PRESERVE" (oops sounds damn familiar man, its my unit's moto in NS). Its not wrong in this type of behaviour or thinking as it comes from human's very very basic instinct.

We are born to love wadever we shld love and to keep this love with us, no doubt we do our very best to protect it.

Different people has different ways of defining wad they value and their protection comes in different forms and layers. There are often priorities in wad they want to protect, and the degree of protection differs in correlation with the importance or priority.

For example, I would like to protect my family. But the degree of protection i offer differs from situation to situation. If they verbally joke or show slight negativity towards them, well i shld be able to take that. But if they mean something harmful, inflicting damage or have that intention, i would protect with my life. Thats for sure.

Knowing and having understood this mentality, i understand how some others protect wad they value. Its natural in certain circumstances that people accidentally cross the borders and the defence wall is put up. Nothing wrong nothing wrong. I m not bearing grudges, i understand that cos u value that in many ways and u cant lose it. For that, I respect u, from the bottom of my heart.

For that defence put up, i cant do anything positive to help. But i m sincere and i really mean no harm. While i remain puzzled abt the defence, i still truly impressed with ur work done to safeguard everything. You are a true man worth befriending.
