Rare Treasure
There was an exhibition hall displaying the world's most splendid diamonds and crystals. They are the gems of the world. They are wad the rich would vie. They glitter and they shine, the cuts in them each uniquely crafted, such that total internal refraction allows the light to stay in them.
The rich walked in and vie for them. The gems all competing against each other for the best, the most powerful and the wealthiest owner on Earth. Each of them want the most capable owner for themselves.
Thousand of years ago..
At the other end of the world there lies another priceless gem, covered deep underground in the tomb of an ancient king. This gem is tired of all the glitter, sick of the competition with the gems and it had been wore by great kings. Its shine, glitter and craftsmanship were no inferior than those in the exhibition hall.
It chose to remain underground for it decided that no one, even the most able person on Earth, is allowed to own it unless he has put in his own worthy effort.
In thousand of years, there were earthquakes, there were landslides.
Back to Reality..
One fine day, a farmer was doing his routine plowing. His plow hit an object and the edge was chipped off. To his delight, he had unraveled the gem of the world.
Unlike the kings of the past, who only occasionally put this gem on so that they can boast about a collection of many great gems. This gem found its rightful owner who cherishes it as a rare treasure and willing to pass it down to his descendants.
It dedicates its shine to its owner, not to compete against other gems...
