The Prelude II

IN year 2005, the situation changed. The format of the tournament was changed to 2 singles and 2 men's doubles and 1 veteran doubles. This format would definitely benefited us if it was used in 2004 when Casey was around.

Casey left because he had fulfilled his required 2 yrs 4 months of national service.

There was a new player who had enlisted. His standard was somewhere less than me hence it was definitely not enough to replace Casey's crucial role in the tournament. He is sm.

While on the other hand, though their no 1 had also left due to fulfillment of national service, however, 35sce which had won the champion last yr were further strengthened with the additional of 2 more good quality school team players.

Hence 39sce which were weakened were made to face a stronger 35sce this yr.

And from the looks of the strength from both sides, our chances of winning was only 30-70.

Some of my platoon mates were concerned and asked me for the chances. I told them it was slim as a matter of fact. However, assuring that we would do our best.

Hence in 2005, i would have to play the decider again like i did last yr, losing it would imply losing any chance of championship.
