Wallet found..
Last week was an inconvenient one for me, going out without a wallet. Grabbing available cash and forcefully putting them into my pocket. Messy is the word that can describe my situation. My nric, saf 11b, driving liscense and student matriculation card were inside when my wallet went missing. That day, i was more worried abt the cost of replacing these cards.
I went sch for lectures and let the matter affect a bit of my mood to concentrate, luckily Yoke was with me. He is one very motivated friend, and with him sitting next to me reminded me of those days when we are in army attending lectures. lol
He accompanied me to get my matriculation card replaced juz 2 days ago. I have to thank him for all the trouble, its quite a distance if u know where the Student Services Centre is.
Juz yesterday, my mum woke me up to tell me that my replacement debit card was in the letter box. And my mum said she was in a rush so she left my card inside. I was irritated why she had to wake me up at 9am when i would only be going out in the afternoon. Worried i was to find out that she actually exposed the letter which contains the debit card. Due to security concerns, i rushed down to retrieve the letter and to my delight i saw a letter addressed to me by SBS transit. True enough it was a letter sent to inform me to collect my lost items. I was really over the moon man.
Coincidentally, my bro rented a van and he had to report for work. I drove him to work b4 collecting my wallet at tampines. I was so happy, everything was so intact and there was not a cent less for the money i left inside(30+ bucks).
I called Ivan and offered him ,weili and kel a ride to the hair saloon. They were thankful i got transport,if not they have to go a long way to that place from the mrt.
After sending them, i went on to donate all the money inside the purse. Den got so enthu that i went Yishun to fetch Yoke to Tampines. Yoke sounded more happy than i was when he heard abt me recovering my lost items. lol
This incident somehow made me realise the need to cherish my belongings. During that 1 week, I was actually very worried abt the wallet too since it was given by my friends of a decade on my birthday last yr. The other army friends were more happy than me for having retrieve the wallet.
You may think its juz a wallet, getting it back means a lot to me!
