Successful in hall application

I was shocked on a fri afternoon as 1 lady phoned me to inform me that i was successful in the hall application. I was told that i have gotten hall 8. This came very late and i supposed this was the reason why i was shocked. Den the difficulty in making a decision on whether to stay struck me.

The reason that withheld me from staying was my mum and she had repeatedly expressed her unwillingness to let me stay in sch. I can understand her stand as she said she cant bear to see her son leaving the house for some days every week and the period during my NS phase had made her feel uneasy. She feels that her children should be eating wad she cooks everyday, and staying outside will make her feel worried abt my diet.

This afternoon i sort of finally gotten a nod from her and it somehow cleared the path towards eventually staying in hostel. She was nv violently against the idea of staying, nor was i unable to choose whether to stay or not. I juz feel that a reponsible adult should try to let their elders know the reason behind their decision and hope for their support.

Now i have gotten it and i will stay. And i will take this opportunity to practice some dieting. Hopefully this will help me lose some kilos.
