Dark Knight is not all about fighting for the name of justice
The things around me seem to spoil at the same time. Damn it. First, it started with my monitor at home. Then, my keyboard went missing, followed by my monitor in hall giving way to failure, then my handphone earpiece again! Wth=D Luckily all problems were resolved and all inconveniences finally came to an end.
I finally watched the Dark Knight with Rong Gui last fri night and it was a good production. Somehow i felt that the joker seemed to overshadow my infallible Batman. It was certainly thumbs up for this film. The ending was one which was hard on me. I find it hard to stomach the fact that Batman would rather allow citizens of the Gortham city to misinderstand him. Shouldn't a hero be respected and loved?
I thought about it and had a new understanding for that, i bowed to the storywriter's calling for a higher level definition for a superhero, that is, a superhero is one who is willing to give up the superficial goodness to acheive his ultimate goal of delivering to the masses, one ready-made to make sacrifices; Not by the simplest way of just laying down his life, but it could be the harshest way of giving up his name of justice, making way for wad others will be labelling him - an outlaw.
The film impacted me in many ways, i hope it does on u!
=D

YEAH~! The Joker rocks! I can't stop thinking throughout the movie what a pity it was for Heath Ledger... =\ I think I like how the Joker seemed to overshadow Batman; it underlines the normality of a person trying within his human capacity to help others. I think it well tells us that we can all find a hero within ourselves - normal us.
PS: I tried super-duper hard to endure your GRATING background music... @_@
