Still hard to let go..

I went back to AHS yest to watch the clash between AHS and Dunman High.

Result: AHS 2-3 DHS

I was pretty shock when the coach told me that he was trying to experiment the doubles pairing which he had never used in this tournament. I think it is a little ridiculous to try the players on the big match and this is an uncalculated gamble. The decision on who to play should have been decided early in jan. And disastrously that pair lost!

The fighting spirit of some players definitely deserved praise however, i find it hard to stomach the fact that some of them improve not as expectedly fast. A lot of technical aspects of their game need polishing and i think they are not ready for the tournament yet.

I feel the urge to speak to them but i told myself i better not since coaching is a very personal thing. By giving them instructions on how to play certainly meant that I hold the coach in disregard. However, i was already contented that the girls i took last yr still show respect for me and they are happy i came. I can only pray for them. Good luck girls.

I really hope 1 day i can realise my dream of being an accomplished coach. Now that this wish is still unfulfilled, I still find this job hard to let go.
