Consider this situation. U are in the middle of a geotechnical project and while supervising the underground works, u see signs that the retaining walls are giving way and and within minutes the whole excavation will collaspe. Hundreds of workers are still unaware of the dangers, if u are given a choice to choose between these 2 choices, which would u choose?

1. Run for ur life while shouting out "danger, run!" However, u would only save urself and the handful of pple who are near the exit, the remaining majority are still underneathe and ignorant of the situation.

2. Run and get the nearest loudspeaker, which is some distance further down the excavation. Warn all the workers and u would save abt 80% of the workers. Unfortunately, being the hero means dying with the rest of the workers who dun make it up there.
