Exciting

Last friday was really an exciting day for me.

It ALL started with the thursday night. I knew i would have to rush for logbook but still turned up for jiatong's birthday. I think he should be real touch man (hey actually i eyed on his dinner treat long ago lo). Anyway, i had not finished my logbook and report that thursday night. I kept telling myself that i would do it, with some difficulty, so why bother. LOL.

So jt is the member of that cafe and was given a bottle of red wine as gift after our dinner. He asked a few times whether we were on for a drink and that really made me very interested. Only Frank was the one who kept saying, bring home and drink la. I was disappointed to hear that though-.- Luckily, jt oso wanted to drink and we really drunk some. I think jt honoured me a major shareholder of that bottle, some generosity from a friend whom i couldnt reject man.

Went home tipsy, done logbook and touch up on report till 630am. Woohoo. Then i took a POWER nap from 630 to 7am. Went off for work and i reached on time.

Borrowed a digicam from my colleague which is a relatively good one for the site visit. It dragged till lunch and the senior engineer brought me to raffles place for lunch. She was quite surprised that young pple like me dunno the place well. i said: even if i came b4 i would juz follow blindly, and ended up not knowing where i visited. Yea i really followed her around and had my lunch at clifford pier.

That time i felt that since my colleague was so willing to lend me his camera, it would be my duty to safeguard that. So i held it with me. But when my senior had gotten her food, she asked me to leave the camera on the table and get my food. I did exactly that. And we had a nice chat during the lunch.

After the lunch off we went and we chat a numerous of interesting topics. And something a motherly engineer like her would like to "kaypo" about. LOL.

When we reached the ground floor of the office building in tanjong pagar, i asked: btw is the camera with u? can i have it? She panicked and i felt bad cos its not even her fault, and the camera was really not with her. My immediate response to that was very negative, i kept thinking that getting back the camera was no longer possible. Below is the dialogue with this engineer.

Senior engineer: go back and look for it la.
me: hai.. its ok, lets go back to office, think need to get a new one for gk liao.
(kept feeling guilty, and pressimistic, while still some pages of log not done, tutor coming at 230pm and then was already 130pm)
SE: Just go la, u nv try u nv know...
me: (already feeling very sian) no la, its ok. i think pple see camera just take liao. No chance. And my supervisor coming at 230pm, i haven finished some pages of my log. I need to go back and do log book. Maybe look for it later.
SE: just go la. At least go and try. Look around for a while and come back la.

Then off i went. Upon coming out of the station at Raffles place. I immediately was faced with a decision that tested my memory. Left or right. There were some flashback that prompted me to turn right which is clifford pier and i was proven right as i approached the food court.

I asked the ones who occupied my seat just now: have u seen a digital camera here?
They eye open DAMN BIG: Sorry no.
I asked the stallholders and it was negative. I asked the dish-collectors.
