Helplessness

When u are worried for someone and u can only standby and watch, that is called helplessness.

Its like the dam of a river giving way, and while millions of tons of water go rushing into villages, ur continuous shouting of help can only be drowned in the noise of gushing waters. U watch as buildings, one by one, bow before the might of angry waters. That is helplessness!
